Our Story

From humble beginnings to Nigeria's premier commercial farm

Farm founder

Founded by Damilare Ogunsiji

AgroZamani was founded on the 17th day of June, 2025, by Damilare Ogunsiji, a visionary agricultural entrepreneur with deep roots in farming and livestock rearing.

From Humble Beginnings

Damilare Ogunsiji grew up rearing snails, catfish, and chickens under his mother's guidance for home consumption. During vacations to his dad's then new house, he learned crop farming - planting lemongrass, weeding, and taking care of coconut and cocoyam plants.

Driven by his passion for agriculture, Damilare chose to study at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), an institution renowned for its agricultural focus. While pursuing his degree in Mathematics, his agricultural interests remained strong. During his university years, he acquired a 3.5 plots of land to pursue his farming passion, growing various crops and gaining hands-on experience in agricultural production.

These early experiences taught him the value of sustainable farming and the importance of quality in everything we produce. Today, he leads AgroZamani with a vision to blend traditional farming wisdom with modern agricultural techniques.

Our Name & Mission
